Join us at the AWS GameDay 2025
On June 16th, we host an AWS GameDay at the AWS office in Amsterdam. During this GameDay we challenge your sustainability capabilities with the Cloud in a playful way. The GameDay is an interactive team-based learning exercise designed to give participants the chance to put their AWS skills to the test. Most importantly, it is an extremely fun way to learn collaboratively.

Reuse, Recycle, Reduce and Rearchitect
Our fictional company, Unicorn.Rentals, has been under pressure after being exposed of unsustainable practices. While on her Spirit Animal Safari Yoga Leadership Retreat, the CEO was inspired to post a promise to reduce carbon emissions on social media. Our customers and shareholders are holding us to this promise and now HQ is scrambling to find ways to reduce our impact over the overnight viral post. Help us reduce our IT footprint through implementing sustainable best practices in our AWS infrastructure.
We step outside the boundaries of typical workshops by offering a learning environment with no restrictions and, above all, plenty of room for your own insight. On top of that, participation is free of charge and we provide a group of Luminis experts to help you optimize your learning results.
GameDay is a collaborative learning exercise that tests skills in implementing AWS solutions to solve real-world problems in a gamified, risk-free environment. This is a completely hands-on opportunity for technical professionals to explore AWS services, architecture patterns, best practices, and group cooperation.

In this narrative, participants focus on multiple things, which include but aren’t limited to: AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon Athena and AWS Glue.
Register as a team or sign up individually and we’ll arrange a team for you. There are no wrong or right approaches; teams pave their own path based on resources we provide them with in live AWS accounts.
A GameDay is a unique experience with interesting challenges. And yes, there will be lunch, prices, drinks and a winner!
Things to remember when registering
- Register quickly, we have limited space and it’s first come first serve.
- It’s nice to have some experience in AWS console (6 to 12 months).
- You can register as a team of 3 to 5 members, or if you sign up individually, we arrange a team for you.
- We recommend taking some time to study the preparation materials sent to you after registering.
