Facilitating knowledge sharing between colleagues
As AgroVision employees do not often attend events such as conferences, and therefore cannot facilitate internal knowledge sharing, the need for external knowledge sharing emerged at AgroVision. They were looking for training sessions to gain new knowledge in areas that are relevant to their work, and at the same time would be in-depth, broadening employees’ horizons.
AgroVision develops specialized software for the agricultural industry worldwide. They serve the entire agriculture sector: from dairy cattle, cultivation to pig farming. About 150 employees work from different locations in international teams to develop software that supports the farmer. Thanks to this software from AgroVision, the farmer can spend his time on what’s most important in his job.
A customized training program facilitated by experienced trainers
By listening carefully to AgroVision’s wishes and looking closely at which knowledge session matched these, Luminis developed a customized program that could be fine-tuned. AgroVision was very pleased with this coordination prior to all sessions.
The Luminis speakers and the training subscription were well regarded. Because of our experts extensive experience in various projects, they have a lot of substantive knowledge and were able to answer all questions clearly. The content of the training sessions was found very interesting and good substantive discussions often arose afterwards. The training on Microservices scored the highest marks with AgroVision and is what they remember best.
We were looking for some depth in our field to broaden our horizons. With the customized knowledge sessions, we were able to offer our employees something extra by bringing them together, sharing knowledge and then discussing it.
Employees' horizons broadened thanks to relevant knowledge sessions within their field of expertise
As a company, AgroVision wanted to offer something extra to their employees. There was no specific learning goal but rather a need to broaden their horizons through knowledge sharing and then be able to have discussions with each other. And they succeeded.
Another concrete goal was to bring people together at their office. There was no way to dial in online for the training sessions so that goal was certainly met as a result.
In summary, AgroVision is very satisfied with Luminis’ training subscription and the way we worked together to create a customized program. It was a success!
